  • A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account—you contribute cash or appreciated assets, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to organizations you care about over time.

    You can support Tzedek DC through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) by recommending a grant to Tzedek DC (EIN: 812208907).   • Donating stocks, mutual funds, or other appreciated assets is a meaningful way to support Tzedek DC’s mission. Gifts of appreciated assets may offer certain tax advantages; however, every donor’s situation is different.     When you initiate a stock transfer to Tzedek DC, please email the gift details to development@tzedekdc.org to ensure we can promptly receive and acknowledge your gift.

  • If you are 70½ years old or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Tzedek DC. This counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) but is not considered taxable income.
