May 1 Luncheon Celebrating Ronald Glancz’s Legacy & the 10th Avodah at Tzedek DC

It was a joy to celebrate in community—reflecting on Ron’s extraordinary life, honoring the values that shaped his work, and witnessing how his legacy continues to guide Tzedek DC and the next generation of justice‑focused leaders. We are especially thankful to the Lillian and Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum for so generously hosting us and welcoming us into such a beautiful and historic space.

We extend particular thanks to Margie Glancz, Vivian Bass, and Harvey Reiter for their leadership and ongoing commitment to honoring Ron in such thoughtful and intentional ways, and to everyone who helped bring the gathering together.

As many speakers shared, Ron believed deeply in mentorship, community, and pursuing justice with both rigor and humility. Through the Glancz Legacy Fund, his values live on by supporting the Ronald R. Glancz Avodah Fellowship and Tzedek DC’s Disabilities Community Project—programs that strengthen our legal services, advocacy, and impact for DC residents.

We are profoundly thankful to everyone who has already supported the Glancz Legacy Fund over the years and in connection with this event. Because of your generosity, we are already almost halfway to our 2026 goal of $100,000, bringing us meaningfully closer to expanding and sustaining this vital work.

Please consider making a gift to the Glancz Legacy Fund. Your support helps ensure that Ron’s commitment to justice, dignity, and opportunity continues to shape Tzedek DC’s work for years to come.

Tzedek DC gratefully accepts contributions made by credit card, bank transfer, IRA and Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), Donor‑Advised Funds (DAFs), and gifts of stocks and securities. If you would like assistance with making a contribution or have questions about giving options, please contact Jessica Trease, Director of Development, at development@tzedekdc.org or 2402588667
