Jessica Trease is the Director of Development at Tzedek DC, where she leads fundraising and communications to strengthen the organization’s impact. She has more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership focused on expanding access to legal and social services for immigrants and victims of crime. Her career has centered on strengthening nonprofit organizations in the District of Columbia, including leadership and fundraising roles at Ayuda, one of Tzedek DC’s partner organizations.

Jessica holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). Earlier in her career, she spent five years living in China, an experience that broadened her perspective and deepened her commitment to cross-cultural understanding.
