A.J. Huber is a Senior Staff Attorney and Pro Bono Coordinator at Tzedek DC, currently serving as Acting Co-Associate Director. Before joining Tzedek DC, A.J. worked for over four years as an attorney at The Williford Firm LLC in Delaware, where he gained significant experience in civil litigation in both state and federal court. Before that, he served as the law clerk to DC Superior Court Judge Lynn Leibovitz and as judicial intern to DC Superior Court Judge Craig Iscoe. A.J. also previously worked as an intern and summer law clerk at the Delaware Department of Justice, where he worked with crime victims and regularly appeared in court on behalf of the state. A.J. has also worked as an intern at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he worked on Freedom of Information Act administrative appeals, and as a research assistant to GW Law Professor Mary Cheh, for whom he researched legislation aimed at increasing employment opportunities for ex-offenders.

A.J. is a graduate, with Distinction, of the University of Michigan (2010), where he triple majored in Spanish, Political Science, and Economics. He is also a graduate, with Honors, of the George Washington University Law School (2013), where he was a Notes Editor of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal and an Alternative Dispute Resolution Board Member. A.J. is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. A.J. joined Tzedek DC in January 2020 due to his desire to advance the public interest and safeguard the legal rights of DC residents with lower incomes.
